Tabitha McEntire
My name is Tabitha McEntire. I am 29 years old, and I have lived in Chatsworth, Georgia all of my life. My family is the most important thing in the world to me. I am married to a wonderful man, Edward, and we have a beautiful little girl named Rayne and a little boy named Jett. Although, our shih tzu, Achilles, is our baby, too. I have wanted to be a teacher since I was a child. There was never another profession that would suite me better. I taught at the dance studio I attended as a child while I was going through high school. This is when I knew for sure that teaching was the profession for me. I saw the difference I made in the children and I wanted to continue making a difference. I get along with almost everyone I meet, and I greatly value the advice of others. Lifelong learning is a concept that I truly believe in, and I think that every person should apply it to his or her life.
I plan to pursue my own education as far as I possibly can. As of right now, I have my Master's degree in Instructional Design and a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education with certification in ESOL and middle grades mathematics. I'm working on obtaining my Specialist degree in Instructional Technology at Kennesaw State University at the moment. I taught preschool at Head Start for two years and middle school the previous year. This will be my fifth year at Spring Place. I genuinely love teaching and am very excited to be teaching your children and working with you!
